I am having fun with my Pet Product Review site, but I felt a passion to create a site about all the stuff I am learning about affiliate marketing.

My thought was that instead of sounding like I know it all, to be humble and tell people that I am simply learning, and here is what I have learned. In the process I can tell people how I learned about hosting (i.e. set up some affiliate links), domain name purchase, and more.

I also want to create a site that glorifies God as he is my everything! (And if you don't like God...it's ok. You can still visit my site. :))

I figure most of my revenue (if I get sales) is going to be accomplished through jersey, apparel, and merchandise sales.

Right now I have done the following for SEO:
- installed the SEO plugin to WordPress
- added related tags and category names to my other pages
- added my website in forums I frequent (there is a high traffic hockey forum I goto, but they don't allow signatures :( ).
- wrote an article on squidoo
- added my website to digg, and stumbleupon
- wrote a few comments on other related blogs/websites

At first Google was indexing my site as the URL for the title. It looks like it is now indexing with the proper title name and description which is great. But i'm sure there are other things I could do.

So, I have read through almost all of the newbie and general posts and decided on my first niche.

Earlier this year I hurt my back and during my bedrest period I learned html, php, mysql and a bunch of SEO stuff and got my Ask A Vet Question site up. My site is doing well, but I really would like to have some affiliate sites associated with it.

So, I have set up Paralyzed-Dogs.com as my first niche site.

Could you give me some general feedback? Don't be afraid to hurt my feelings. I really want to make it in the affiliate business and want to learn from my mistakes!

I just put my site up on Tuesday, sold 1 book the 1st 15 minutes after 1 post in a Debt Forum and there has been nothing since.

I have put about 10 videos across 13 different sites, ran some online classified ads and nothing.

And I have not had any luck getting affiliates. Am I pricing it too low, where affiliates are not wanting $10 per sale, or what do you guys think?

Now, I know its only been a few days so maybe I am being impatient, which is very likely.
