Hot! Affiliate Theme - Wordpress Affiliate Pages Made Easy

Seems almost every blog I've read in the past 2 days has been promoting/selling Affiliate Theme from Unique Blog Designs, so you may have seen this video already. NOTE: I'm not selling and there is no affiliate link in this post. I'm just sharing because it looks like it could be a GREAT tool for affiliates who want a faster, easier way to test multiple landing pages OR for affiliates that don't know how to build pages/sites.

We often talk here about how Wordpress is one of the easiest and best platforms to use to build a site. But existing WP templates are not designed well for affiliate marketing, especially landing pages, where you don't want all the WP nav links.

This tool looks great for building all type of affiliate pages but especially could be good for landing pages, affiliate reviews and product comparison pages. Check out the video.

The fact that every "pro blogger" is pimping out this theme means it will probably be saturated very quickly. (I think I saw it on 5 make monies online blogs yesterday)

The sharks will make their money.

The newbies will be out of pocket again and wondering why they're not rich yet.

Another day at the office really.

Don't get me wrong - it seems like a reasonable product, but it's pretty obvious the MMO whores are getting a good deal to promote it.

I am probably a little cynical about them, but hey, of the ones I am talking about, I haven't seen a decent piece of genuine good and helpful content that didn't promote some affiliate link on their blogs for months.

Ya I hesitated since so many are promoting - didn't want anyone to think I was 'one of those' But it's not just the MMO guys but people like Shawn C and other super affiliate bloggers too, that don't often try to sell stuff in posts, so I figure they must also think it's a good solution for people to know about.

But really for what this does, if you don't know how to do it yourself and for the time and headaches it would save, $97 does not look too bad to me.

Linda, you're the only with any integrity who's blogging in that space (and yours is more of a news blog than a 'buy my stuff' blog), so I was not including you in that.

One nice thing at the Affiliate Theme site is you can view their support forum and follow the progress of those who are trying to install it. Granted, it appears to be a new product and their are some glitches but support appears to be pretty attentive.

As an affiliate manager I like to keep an eye on products like this as my affiliates ask questions of ways they can promote our merchants via Wordpress and other mechanisms. I'll be reading the forum there to watch the progress.

$97 is only for a single website, which I think it is quite steep. But it is a great tool for reducing the amount of time to put up a site. For me, I will give it a miss for now as I still love those fancy ones.
