Here are some of the reasons why I encourage affiliate marketing newbies to find a niche they are PASSIONATE about.

Building the site will be a joy, not a chore...

Writing copy will come easier and the words will flow...

Let your passion come through, visitors will feel it, success will follow...

It's REALLY important that new affiliates can start to see some early results from their efforts or most will give up and quit! Focusing on a topic they are passionate about or at least know something about makes generating content easier and marketing more rewarding. Then after they learn on this easier 1st site, they'll be in a better position to decide if they want to tackle a more competitive, in demand niche.
