This was very informative. One thing that I notice is, a lot of people recommend aweber for mailing lists, and autoresponders.

Is the one that comes with my host gator account cool for now? If so when would you recommend aweber?

Also, do you know where I can find some free ebooks to give away as an incentive to joining my mailing list?

I've seen some sites giving away all sorts of interesting looking free ebooks, and I'm sure they aren't the site admin's original product.

I will post this twice just in case it gets lost, I guess I should, I dunno

Sure Karl. The mag is free and you don't have to be a member to read any of them. There's a ton of good info in the archives.

Aweber seem to have a good reputation for getting emails past the spam folders. Whatever email system you use, make sure it is a double opt-in system, as any other type may get you in trouble with your hosting provider.

You can generally get free ebooks with free givaway rights on the freebies forum at forums.digitalpoint.com . Just be careful to check the rights given with the ebooks.
