5 Star Affiliate Programs

I do not see many sites in my niche that offer coupon links to vendors sites. Is there a reason for this? I'd like to add a coupon page to my site but am wondering if it is worthwhile.

Coupons are very effective in fact I've read some studies and news articles about how the percentage of shoppers that search for coupons 1st has risen dramatically due to the economy.

You could definitely do a coupon page, or even add a coupon to your best converting merchant on your sidebar so it shows up on all pages.

Only downside to coupons is you really have to stay on top of them and keep them current and updated.

I haven't looked through your site a whole lot yet, but have you considered pet RX and pet insurance affiliate programs? Maybe you are already partnered with some?

The site I posted for review is only 1 I am working on. The other site is a general review of pet products and yes I do have plans to do pet insurance (already got my affiliate links). I'm not so sure on the petrx stuff. By law they can't pay affiliate commissions on prescription products, but then most people who buy a prescription may buy other stuff too that I could make a commission on.

Thanks for the tips...gotta go do some real work in my day job now...

Oh really? There are petRX affiliate programs though. Hmmm, you'd know that better than me of course. But here's one I've heard about.

You should look at what your net profit will be if you add a coupon and compare it with what it used to be when you did not add any coupon.
