Default Choosing your "2nd" niche

Hi all,

I first need to preface this message by saying that I realize that I need to keep adding content to my first niche and keep it going. But the one issue I have with my niche is that it is very seasonal. In fact right now I expect my highest periods to be December to March and then drop off quite a bit once the Olympics are over. I'm hoping to work on a 2nd that is a little more year round.

Now i've already thought about things in my head based on the experiences I have learned in my 1st niche. When selecting my first niche, I made sure to choose something that fit the "newbie" criteria with both the Market Samurai and WordTracker GTrends tools. I believe both of these tools were created for the 30 day challenge and were centered around new affiliate marketers.

So i'm wondering, can I go a bit higher than the recommended criteria, or is this was most affiliate marketers use? Another method I tried was the allintitle google methods and came up with the following results:

allintitle: niche 207,000
normal google search for niche: 1.1 million

Thanks!

Hi Adammo:

Allow me to give you some advice based on my own experiences in business. Nothing is ever written in stone. Ambitious marketers break rules every single day. If there's something that you'd like to try...go for it!

Figure out a way to make it work, and just do it!

Remember, nothing ventured, nothing gained. After all, you'll never know if something is going to work, unless you try it, right?

There, have I cliched you enough?

Thanks David for the advice! Makes perfect sense. I tend to over analyze things too much and should probably just give things a try and learn that way .

You're quite welcome. You're hardly alone when it comes to over-analyzing things. "Paralysis by Analysis" is a common affliction.
