Affiliate Summit several years ago when it still did the cruise ship thang, was considered by some CEO's to be too much of a party event to pay for. These days the Summit is THE place to be if you are in the affiliate marketing industry. Everyone who's anyone in this business will be there. (Except me). The conferences and the trade show floor have been greatly expanded. However most people still feel that one of the most rewarding parts of the event is the networking and some of the best networking happens after people loosen up and have a few cocktails. WARNING: A well known industry trick used by Connie from Flamingo World and other savvy affiliates - is to ply their affiliate competitors with booze and then pry out all their secrets.

HI Andrew,

I won't be able to make this Summit. The parties will be listed in the itinerary when you get there and are probably listed on the Summit site too. Some are provate and by invite only, so you will need to ask around when you get there.
Most private parties have invites at their Trade Show booth.

oh no Andrew, there will be OFFICIAL Summit parties every night that everyone is invited to. The one I mentioned above is open to everyone.

It's just that some companies also have their own smaller parties just for their clients and affiliates and those you need an invite to. Don't worry you will be partied out when you get back.
