Affiliate marketing fundamentals will be the focus of the Affiliate Classroom Magazine in 2007. So to start things off right, the
January issue features articles on choosing the right programs and merchants - including advice for finding international affiliate programs.
The cover story gives you an "affiliate's eye view" that walks you through a step-by-step process for selecting a good program. It's not only a great introduction to merchant selection, it also offers useful advice for intermediate and advanced marketers. I found a couple of tips very helpful, including one on
how to check that cookies are working properly.
I was also glad to see the article on how to find international affiliate programs. The advice comes straight from the mouth of an affiliate living and working in Hungary. It's a practical and down-to-earth perspective on not just finding programs, but getting accepted, and it offers some excellent tips for increasing conversions from international buyers.
This issue also features Affiliate Classroom Magazine's Product of the Year Award. At first I was surprised at the choice - why give an award to a FREE product? But after reading the article, it all made perfect sense!
