Hey American Idol is one of my guilty pleasures too! My daughter and I usually sit down and watch it together. Somehow I liked the mix last year better than this year.

And if you cannot figure out why Sanjaya is still there, you need to ask my pre-teen daughter. Kids her age probably make up a lot of the voters, and she thinks he's cute!

I'm with you on the lack of a dynamic mix this year.
I don't like the show as much this year and think it's the worst so far.
I still watch and it's great entertainment, just not as good as previous years.

Well anyway, I think American Idol has got to be a great niche. I've thought about plumbing it for a couple of years - and I probably should have - but just didn't get around to it. ...Next year.
