Create display ads in AdWords

Google now has an AdWords display ad builder. It makes it possible for you to create what Google says are professional-looking display ads in AdWords without starting from scratch or hiring a designer.

According to Google:

This new tool lets you create customized display ads with your own text, images, and logo. You can also change colors and backgrounds. The tool can create ads to fit all possible placements across the Google content network, including video and game placements. The display ad builder is available now to all advertisers in the U.S. and Canada.

I saw this in my feedreader earlier and the title caught my eye:

It's a good write-up too so check it out.

I just played with it real quick to make a 5 Star forum ad, just for fun. It's not very flexible for word placement and just cut some of my words off even though on the form my text fit. Couple other issues too, but fast and easy and should save people who don't have designers a lot of time.

I just read a couple days ago they made quite a few enhancements already too.
So should be even better now.
