Digg bans Go Articles

When attempting to Digg a GoArticles I wrote I received this message from Digg:

This URL has been widely reported by users as being regularly used to spam Digg's submission process and cannot be submitted at this time. ????

Goarticles does allow affiliate links and even CB hop links in the body of their articles which is a rarity for article submission sites, but sometimes you really need that. BUT it would be nice to know the details of that Digg message???

Now what is also interesting is that DropJack, which is another social bookmark site is a part of GoArticles (at least it appears to be because they plug it vividly on their site and vice versa) and from what I've seen is giving Digg a real run for their money. Because ANY articles that I submit (for fairly low comp KW anyway) to Drop Jack go to first page of google within 24 hours, so apparently G loves Drop Jack.

As you said, goarticles is one of the few article sites that allows affiliate links in the body of the articles

I personally have not tried to digg my articles. I find that article take up by other webmasters is quite good just by writing and posting to goarticles.

What makes your post really interesting is the concept of posting to article submission sites and trying to promote those articles.

Oh yes it's a great tool, ESPECIALLY if you are using low comp KW and use them properly when writing the article, those articles that are Digged or Drop Jacked wind up on page 1-2 of G for those KW usually within a day of posting!, Not to mention the exposure from the actual visitors of those sites, Digg gets a ton of traffic and people read the articles that are submitted.

Now I don't do this with all Article Submission sites, like ezine or ehow they wind up on page 1 or 2 with the right KW all on their own,

BUT

with my BLOG entries and Goarticles, HUBS and SQUID lenses I always promote those with Digg and Drop and sometimes even others. In fact on HUB, Squid and goarticles there are auto links to social marker sites and those are meant for sharing and therefore exposure!!

The KEY is to use DIFFERENT relevant low comp KW for the same product and your stuff will be ALL OVER the NET!! ...That is the whole point isn't it?
