Default Five Effective Ways to Advertise Your Business For Free

Many people in search of a dream are trying to beat the competitive race: however, they are left confused searching for the answers. Many experienced gurus pray on these people’s excitement and zeal promising them list builders, free leads, and traffic generators. But unfortunately, with these things comes a price. Other meaningless products or memberships that they don’t really want have to be purchased before they can get what was promised. Sadly, it is out of reach for many people. All of this confusion intimidates many of the internet marketers, and they, in turn, lose interest. But, that was the past because there are now ways you can get your name out there for free. So, let’s get started.

Forum Marketing
This kind of marketing is pretty fun. You can go on the forum of your choice whether it’d be politics, religion, work at home moms, crafting, gaming etc. You just be friendly and talk to others. Get to know the forum rules and the people there before you start posting, and don’t advertise your products unless it is indicated that you are allowed. However, you do have a signature file that will appear under all your posts. This is where you advertise what you are selling.
The way you advertise in your signature file is that you write a quick catchy phrase and then put the web site where you product can be found. Make sure the phrase is well written because this will make people want to click on the link in your signature. One thing to be weary of is having your signature file long and drawn out. Most forums frown upon that: so, it would be a good idea that you read the rules for signature files for most forums will have these. If you cannot find any, then keep it to five lines max.
Signature marketing is quite effective. This is because as you talk in the forums, people began to get to know and trust you. When this trust is built up, they will soon check out your products. However, if you spam the forum, you’ll be quickly disliked. Otherwise, make the most of this strategy because I have found great results plus it’s free.

Email Signatures
Often times, your email provider will have a setting in which you can create a signature file for your email. There is no extra charge for this, and you can check this to be sent out with all of your messages by default. This way of marketing is awesome because as you are corresponding with friends, family, coworkers, and others out there, you are unknowingly marketing your product without saying a word to them about it. As you send your messages, your signature will attract their attention.
To set this up, go into the mail settings. You should find a mail signatures’ option. Then, go to create signatures and click on that. Write your signature and then save it. There will be an option to turn it on or off. Check the on option so it is sent out with every message you send. Some providers do it differently” so it would be a good idea to ask if you are unsure. However, if you are using a free email service, play around with it until you have found the setup options for setting a signature.
When designing a signature file for your email, don’t make it too long and drawn out, it looks sloppy. Treat it like the signature file on your forum. However, if you have three or four sites you want to advertise, which will take up more than five lines. Give a small descriptive summary for each of them with an interesting subject line. Make sure to provide a couple of blank lines in between so as to separate them. You will find that you have more flexibility in email signature files than forum signature files. So go to town!

Traffic Exchanges
Marketing your business can also be done through traffic exchanges. These are free to use until you upgrade, and are nice sources of traffic. All you do is set up your ads and links to your site and then surf for credits. This can be time consuming: however, if you manage your time wisely, this method is not problematic but very useful. Traffic Swarm, Instant Buzz, Top Surfer, and Link Referral are some that I strongly recommend.

Article Writing
Article writing is another nice source of traffic for online businesses. What you do is write an article about a topic that pertains to your business and put the link in the bio. Make sure your bio is interesting because sometimes, this is what makes people want to click. Never include the link of your web site in the body of your article. That is frowned upon and will get your articles rejected. Furthermore, your articles should not be written with the sole intention of selling something: rather, they should be written to deliver information. You may think to yourself, if I don’t write it like an ad, then how can I use this method to sell? Well, simple. If people like the information you provided them, they’ll put their confidence in you which will, in turn, make them want to check out your web site’s link that is down in your bio. That is why it is so important that your articles are not just thrown together but written with care. Well written articles will give a nice impression of your business to those who read them. And, if you are not sure how to write a well written article. Go to the search engines and type in the query, “Free guide on how to write effective articles”, and you should get nice results that you’ll find helpful. Furthermore, most article submission sites have a place on their site where you can click for a guide on how to write. Utilize this way of marketing because not only is it free” but, the exposure is phenomenal.

Press Releases
Another way to market is by using press releases. These are informational releases about your business written in the form of news articles. These should not be written as ads but as a means of information about the business. Examples of things you can write are how the company is helping others, how the owner came up with the idea, or the success of the company to name a few. There are many free sites that can use press releases because the media always needs stories to publish. In exchange for providing the media with content, you’ll receive traffic to your site in return. If you are not sure how to write a press release, type in the search engine the query, “guide to writing press releases” and be on your way. Examples and how to guides will appear which will guide you through this process step by step. In time, this strategy of marketing will become second nature to you.

With all of this said, there is no reason for you to pay thousands of dollars to get your name out there. You just need a bit of elbow grease and some creativity, and you can be up there with all of those capitalistic gurus who once prayed on the newbies in search of a dream. You’ll be able to market and build your business without putting out the money others say you must. So, just put these strategies into practice and see if you don’t start seeing results!

So far as my exp the Google Adwords and Email Marketing are the best effective ones.
However if we have small ad budget then FREE posting is the good choice untill we get sufficient amount and knowledge to do the paid advertising.

Default Business models that really work

If you want true long term success you should learn seo. PPC is expensive. Paid ads on other sites have lower conversion rates than search, Articles are great, but actualy help with seo, so we go back to seo again.

Very few conversions happen from forums(it does happen sometimes), but the links in sigs help seo.

Anyone who is looking for a quick buck or get rich quick on the net is doomed to failure. It is the laws of business. You must build a good foundation for a business to last.

Any new project i take on is built for long term growth. I use many methods to market on the net, but they mostly revolve around seo because it is the most cost effective way to market on the net.

Traffic exchanges rarely work at all. Search engine submissions are worthless, Directory submissions are good as long as you do not link back to them and falls under seo(see, back to seo again). Email has low conversion rates, but in mass can work, but there is no long term effect(most opt out shortly after opting in).

Social bookmarking is great if you understand how to use them, and the links help with seo.

If you want success on the net, learn seo.

Great advice! But you elaborate on the so-called DO-IT-YOURSELF SEO?

Knowing that it's far better to do SEO on your own anyway it's your business rather than giving the assignment or the control to other people or company.

I wouldn't give up on that e-mail - but question...did you do it via a newsletter or just sending out an ad or auto-repsonder? A newsletter can be very effective if done properly (not too many ads, good info/content pertaining to your subject matter and not spamming your subscribers with ads in between ezine issues --oh and double opt in), but it takes patience and time to build a good list. It's an on-going process.

I remember sending out my first ezine to 7 people and I was excited I even got that many! Now I have thousands but I've read that 10,000 is the magic mark. Let's just say I'm only just about half-way there after several years, so patience, patience, patience! And no under-handed tactics to get people on your list. I could have that 10,000 number by now if I pulled some of the stunts some ezine writers do, but I prefer to have a lower number and my dignity!
