Hi All,

My name is Betsy - I am a full time mom who is blogging about her experience.

Before this new "career" I used to work as a senior affiliate manager for a large Adult program - so I know a little about affiliate marketing.... but I am happy to be on the mainstream side now! So far, I am finding it pretty challenging. Commissions seem low, and a lot of programs at CJ and Google reject me automatically. I've asked them why, and basically the answer I get is because my site is small. I'm amazed because at my old job we took everyone, big or small, and often some of the sites with the least amount of traffic had the most targeted hits and the best conversions. I guess I have a lot to learn, which is why I joined up here! I look forward to learning from you guys.

Oh, it said "no link drops" so I thought that meant you weren't supposed to post your site. :P It's [removed] - tricky, I know. I'm only getting about 50-100 unique visitors a day, so it's definitely small, but I just started. I'm working on getting my content in, and doing some link exchanges. It's hard to fit it all in since most of the time I'm dealing with my 11 month old.

Actually MommyFTW, I'm so sorry, I know you only posted your site because he asked - but you were right it's not allowed. (So he should not have asked).

I know your heart's in the right place, but we have others who would link drop every post if they could and would only post to try to get clicks. So we have to keep it pretty strict.

However 2 places you can post your link if you ever want to.

2) The site review forum after you have 10 posts.
