Affiliate Promotion

Hi everyone. I've been lurking on the forum for a few days now & have finally decided to post )

We are looking at running some sort of promotion/contest for our affiliates. Does anyone have any good ideas for a give away besides just cash? Or is that what most affiliates prefer? We don't have the budget for a car or anything like that.

Our clients have done a ton of contests over the years. Some very creative!
I can't pull up any one from my memory banks.

Many people give away laptops to their top affiliates.

I guess it all depends on how much you expect to earn during the launch, and if you're tight on cash, then offer solo ads to your mailing list as a prize offering.

Laptops, solo ads, links from your blog to theirs, honorable mention inside member's are etc....what ever fits into the budget.

You can never go wrong with cash. If it you make it a performance based promotion you should see some good action in your affiliate program.

Not sure what your affiliate program is for but if it a product you can give that away as well.

Cash is always a great motivator but what I prefer is a link actually, offer a hompage link for x amount of time to the winner.
