LinkTrust recently announced numerous new features and updates with a big emphasis on helping advertisers, networks and affiliate managers fight affiliate fraud. Here is part of the press release.

LinkTrust Releases 50 New Features and Updates Including Affiliate Fraud Scoring

The LinkTrust team released more than 50 features and updates this week in the Version 6 feature suite. With the successful implementation of the SAN and migration of the majority of LinkTrust partners to Version 6 in 2009, the focus for 2010 is to expand the features available to partners.

All of the features planned for 2010 are designed to give LinkTrust partners the tools they need to break through costly and time intensive barriers like affiliate fraud.

“As we all know, fraud is the biggest enemy in this industry,” said Jeremy Coon, LinkTrust director of sales. “One of the best ways to combat fraud is to stop it before it starts by not signing up fraudulent affiliates. Our new tool gives affiliate managers help spotting those fraudulent affiliates when they sign up. That means less time spent combing through signups and more time supporting good affiliates.”
