Incentivized leads

I have been hesitating about taking my product to the CPA Networks. The biggest reason is incentivized traffic. How do you know when they are doing it when you have stipulated in the IO that they can not?

I do alot of co-registration and know for a fact that for certain niches incentivization can kill you. My product is in that boat. (diet supplement)

So my million dollar question, how would one know that the traffic is being incentivized? (other than the customer saying they never signed up)

Good Question. There are few guides you can look at to give an idea if an affiliate is incentivizing your offer. One flag is to look at the conversion rate of the program. If the affiliate's conversion rate is higher than your average that should be a red flag.

The other guide is the life time of your customer. If the customer stays below your average then this is another flag.
