Clickbank - Not a Good Place for Newbies to Start

I'm actually shocked to hear this, as I think clickbank is great. They are my number one affiliate program. However, you do have to be choosy about what ebooks you promote. Many of them are oversaturate with affiliates.

The tracking code (which is "XXXXXXXX" in the example above) can be 8 characters long, containing alpha and numeric characters only. Any tracking code longer than 8 characters will be truncated. I find that Clickbank is a good place for affiliates to start because of it's easy to access database. The only two complaints I have are 1) you have to meet the criteria to get paid out 2) so many clickbank products out there.

Rick, they consider themselves a competitor to clickbank and paydotcom.

There is a difference between them and clickbank in that they allow physical products to be sold in addition to subscriptions and digital products. They don't charge a setup fee.
