That's because you're in a thread that states it's not a good place to start. I tend to disagree, but, you could get a second opinion and some very good advise to working with clickbank at the clickbanksuccessforum Since they specialize in Clickbank even reading all the threads without asking questions will give you further insight

jackgopher, there are also lots of threads and posts here from people who do like and use Clickbank.

To reiterate something I've said a million times, I'm not saying don't use CB I'm saying if you are brand new and don't know anything it's one of the hardest places to start for a wide variety of reasons, all outlined in this and other threads. But that's just IMHO.

Thanks Rick and Linda for your replies.

Well, my brother is using clickbank for some years now with fair succession, but I tried it and only got debts to google...

But now I have my own site, maybe things will go better...

It depends what you aim at promoting. If it is digially delivered products (like software, games, or e-books), Clickbank is sure the way to go.

Default More Enlightenement

I thought Clickbank is good for Newbie but reading your post now make me want to ask if it is still advisable for a newbie to use Clickbank as a starting point. I will need more enlightenment as regard this because I have always thought that Clickbank is the best for Newbie and any one alike.
I want to thank you for bringing it up.

Possibly if you pick a niche that isn't competitive and definitely not in the Internet marketing or make money online arena.

Just read this full post about all the various issues surrounding CB (tracking and hijacking issues,
payment oddities, lack of reporting, etc.) and then decide if you think it sounds like an easy place for a newbie to start. I don't recommend it, but some others do.
