I'm at a forum where I'm activley a member...
I want to enter my affiliate link in my signature
it gives me a text bar to fill but it says it excepts url's
my link begins with < a href="
How do you do this?
In lots of forums you can't use HTML links you need to use BB code or VB code.
So a link would be formatted like this.
PHP Code:
[url=http://affiliate-marketing-forums.5staraffiliateprograms.com]5 Star Affiliate Marketing Forums[/url]

YOu need to look at that forum and see if it says anything at the bottom like
See at the bottom of this forum it says vB code is On or other forums may say BB code is On (same thing). There's a link that tells you how to format font styles, links etc. vB code

I'm trying to enter my affiliate link on a site.
The first text box I can enter any "saying" i want that will be the link itself!
second box I actually enter the site my saying will link to..
My question is..my affiliate link begins with some code before the http:// starts.
If I enter the whole link html in the box it wont work BUT if I remove the code just before the http:// and then paste it in the box and save it
When It is active on the site I can click the link and it will go to the merchants site!
Will that be ok..Will I get credited with the clicks of my link
Thanks,
Jeff
thats really odd I have never heard of an affiliate link that didnt start with http and frankly, I dont think its possible. Go back to the affiliate site and make sure you have the right link
