After getting the keywords, I use google trend to analysis the season traffic, geographic traffic and compare with my existing keyword traffic to estimate the real traffic in google search. Very helpful new tool to validate the real traffic in google search.
Perhaps add Google insights? Google Insights for Search
It is kind-of related to google trends, but allows you to do better geo-targetting of keyword niches and find related searches very easily.
I use it everyday, great tool.
