You must be able to offer more than just a landing page and the affiliate product page. Make the users stay worthwhile so that they might want to visit your site in the coming days. You may want to have a blog. Most users would enjoy reading a few well-written articles - and blogs helps you get a higher PR given the proper nurturing

Aside from blogs, you may also want to consider marketing your site to get more traffic - PPC, Back Links, ad placements, etc. works well if you have a budget. If you have budget constraints, best try some of these methods :
Submission to SE's and directories
Email campaign
Forums, blogs and board postings to targetted audience
Social Bookmarking
Offline campaigns
Etc. etc.

Thanks for the ideas. I have been considering some of them. I have found that internet marketing does take quite a bit of work and follow through. Not quite the get rich quick ticket that a lot of people make it out to be! Actually, I find it a challenge that is enjoyable. I'm trying to be somewhat organized so that my time is better spent.
