Too many people spend far too much time only thinking about themselves. I really love it when an effort is made to help those in need. Not enough is done in this area. More thought is given to it this time of the year. It would be nice if it got this same amount of attention the entire year. But whenever a sincere effort is made to help those in need, it deserves attention.

Our support will mostly help the Children's Aid Society (committed to protecting children and youth from abuse and neglect), but some funding will also go to the Cumberland Resource Center (a food bank in dire need of donations this time of year) as well as a local troop of Scouts (supplying them with tents).
