If it is owned by him then "the rich jerk" says it all really. lol.

He has most probably become rich from all them $2's per month deductions. I bet that ads up to a lot. I know that so far I have received no checks and have paid over $60's in $2 deducations since I have been with them. So in other words it seems that Clickbank does this so that they don't have to hardly pay out on sales and any commissions earn't they will receive 100% of your earnings unless you are a very good affiliate and can reache the minimum guidelines to get paid.

Agreed John. I've been promoting their offers a lot more as of late. Almost all of my promotions are now done though Shareasale, CJ and a handful of other media ad networks.

"Plus ClickBank's products are junk e-books that aren't worth their grain of salt."

LOL, well said. I think many marketers start off pushing CB products but soon realize the grass is much greener in affiliate marketing with tangible items. Things people can actually put their hands on.

Don't get me wrong though. I still promote some marketing software and a few eBooks but more often than not they're not on CB.

P.S. The Rich Jerk owns CB...ummm...that's rumor. Rich Jerk is Kelly Felix, CEO - Creditpro, Inc.

Hi Suresh,

In joining specific networks, you have to consider so many factors. One of which is that: Is this particular network 100% Parasite-Free? This is just one of the many factors.
Good luck and I hope that you'll find your best network real soon.

I think there are many different matters to consider when choosing your network.

It's best first of all to shop around online and check other users experiences of any particular network. Do they pay? What is their support like? What offers do they have? DO they have offers to fit my niche?

Just a few.

Oh and one more thing, you want to have a good affiliate manager that is going to keep you up to date with the best offers, and help you optimize your site etc etc.

All the best

I agree with the manager thing. The better the support of the network the better for you. When it's hard to get in contact with a network that is really a downer. I like networks that use AIM or other messenagers as a contact option to.

I just joined up with ShareaSale and Linkshare. These are my first 2 so I'll have feedback once I learn all the tricks to it. They seem to be pretty good and offer a wide range of products.

Forgot to mention. Thanks for the blog post. I have visited your blog a few times. It is nicely designed and have some good content on it. I think I have even left a comment here and there, but can't quite remember now.

This isn't always the same for every person...
For me for instance is the one I'm working with ok because I trust them and they give me a full support on how and what to do!
And that's what I need..
They also don't push me to go out and find new people, for them time isn't your enemy but your best friend

An affiliate network is known by its programs and support it provides to affiliates. I must mention that the definition of a best affiliate program changes from one affiliate to another. You should ask few questions to yourself as what do I expect from an affiliate network? The answer to this question will help you to narrow down your search for best affiliate network programs in the planet.

Of course this question of which is the best affiliate network program begs for input from many success stories and site owners that have made money with 'make money with affiliates programs'.

The success of each application of such programs depends on many variables many of which are as important to consider that they would determine the success or failure just by themselves. For example, the variable of traffic through your site. If you don't have any traffic, just what would be the point of promoting products or services. That would be like having a storefront on a deserted island with no one but yourself to visit it. No matter how good the affiliate program or merchant program is, when there is no traffic, there is no merchandising or affiliation to sell products.

Another variable in the affiliate programs as well as merchant programs is the research of how relative each product offering is to the content of your site. For example, if you have a website catering to the automotive related interest groups but youraffiliate ads context is primarily candy or diapers, you probably would not have much success with your affiliate programs since your ads would be better targeted on toys or kids clothing websites. On the other hand, if you have a niche market for an item or service with affiliate program ads contextual to that item, you may find that a higher number of your visitors will see the ad as relative to their interest. After all they are already on your site for a reason, they are interested in what your site has to offer and advertisements that relate to your content is vital.

Much more information is necessary to make a good decision as to which affiliate program is right for you. There is no magic formula, but a lot of common sense, and hard work researching great sites 5 Star Affiliate Marketing as well as informational blog sites to give you an example of effective target ads relative to content ;-).

Best wishes and happy researching.
