Default Which is the best affiliate network?

Hello friends,

I am using LinkShare for building my site. And I am planning to add some more merchants especially the best one in the planet. Will you please suggest me which one are the best affiliate network programs in the planet so far?

Regards,

Suresh Raj Bhattarai

Hi Suresh

How is the site design coming along? It is great to see and hear your enthusiasm for affiliate marketing.

Everyone can suggest their best affiliate program in the world but it might not be the best for you. My questions to you is what are your interests? what do you like to promote and talk about? If you work on something you enjoy you will more likely see the results

I hope this helps you find the best affiliate program in the world.

Jamie is right... networks are different and all have different offers at different rates.

Perhaps the question should be 'which network is most suitable for me?'...

Very true.. I might add, "Which network is most suitable for my website". I operate multiple websites and depending on the site's content I've found that choosing the right network to pair with a particular site can make a tremendous difference in earnings.

I personally like ShareASale, they allow affiliates to have quick, easy and free access to merchants datafeeds via http download or FTP. They pay on time everytime, they have a good affiliate interface, they have a good amount of merchants listed, etc.

I have never had a bad thing to say about them.

I also like other networks, but shareasale has always been my favourate.

Thanks for the tip John. I've personally had my best experiences with PPC programs such as AdBrite and AdSense, but I've been looking for other programs to utilize on some of my niche-market, content driven sites.

btw, your directory is fantastic. So good in fact, I just had to write a blog post about it.

With affiliates, are the days of clickbank and commission junction over? It seems that there is always just bad news with them. Or is it just a blip?

I don't like clickbank or CJ. I have earnings with Clickbank, but they deduct fees from your earnings every month just to be an affiliate and I've yet to see a paycheck from them despite hundreds of thousands of impression over a two year period.

CJ is a professional program, they pay as promised but for the amount of banner impressions I've served vs the payout ratio, I've decided to replace their space with AdBrite PPC. CJ is geared more towards corporate publishers rather than SOHO sites, but the thing I like about them is at they at least treat all publishers witht the same respect.

Rumour has it that ClickBank is owned by Cameron who is aka 'The Rich Jerk', and ClickBank's tracking and back office has always been very amateur, even with their new changes to the website, it's still a newbie affiliate program that thrives on entry level publshers who will never meet the cashout requirement. Plus ClickBank's products are junk e-books that aren't worth their grain of salt.

IMHO neither are worth bothering with. At least AdBrite and AdSense have always paid me on time and are PPC so you don't have to sell anything, just turn the link into their network.

I feel your pain with Clickbank. I have been promoting them for over 4 years and have never had a check even though I have reached minimum payout a few times and have earn't over $100. They keep deducting and you have to get at least 4 sales from 4 different US credit cards before they release payments.

"Rumour has it that ClickBank is owned by Cameron who is aka 'The Rich Jerk'"

I didn't know that!
