This past Friday, December 14, 2007, MaxBounty had about 10 hours of downtime that affected both tracking and reporting.
MaxBounty has done the right thing and is being fair with affiliates by making compensation for the downtime rather than simply saying we are sorry it happened and leaving it at that.
Here is what MaxBounty said about the downtime and the compensation:
Quote:
As you may be aware, MaxBounty experienced a major server failure on Friday, December 14th which led to approximately 10 hours of downtime. This downtime affected both tracking and reporting.
We realize that network downtime does affect the bottom line of our affiliates, and as a result we have compensated any affiliate who was affected by this downtime. We calculated the amount to compensate using affiliate earnings from December 1st up to the moment the downtime began. If you had any earnings during this period, you will be able to see how much compensation you received in the "Account History" report.
I apologize for any inconvenience this downtime has caused you and want to assure you that we are taking steps to prevent this from happening again in the future.
Thank you for your continued business with MaxBounty and do feel free to contact me should you have any questions.
