Please advise on how to improve my website

I have two sites, Coins & Coin Collecting Guide and Fundraising Guide. The coin collecting site is a PR2 and is currently providing a little adsense and Amazon revenue. The fundraising site in a PR0 and only provides a little adsense revenue every other day. Any suggestions on how I can improve the sites or monetize them better? Thanks for your input.

The sites look good cosmetically and from just a quick glance ad placement looks OK. but I don't think those cookie cutter turn-key Adsense sites generally do very well.

Do you have complete control of the sites and know how to add content? Some unique content instead of the auto-generated scraped content that I think comes with those sites might help you. If the same article is on 20 sites and you're a PR 0 or 2, others with the same article are going to come up much higher for the keywords.

Just research and pick some specific niches within the niche of each site that are not too competitive and write some of your own unique articles.

I guess you know the company you bought fundraisingguide.net from is selling your site on eBay for 500? How does that work? Do you own it or do they own it? Actually you don't need to tell us, just struck me as odd.

What are you doing right now to generate traffic? The key to making money is targeted traffic and you need lots of it. Maybe tell us a little about how you are marketing and we may be able to give you some other ideas.

Interesting... I own the site and I have complete control over the blog. I haven't done much with the fundraising site with the exception of submitting it to some directories for backlinks. I've published some articles for the coin collecting site and submitted them to some article directories. It’s been easier to write the coin collecting articles since I do collect coins. Alexa ranking has been improving, but they are both still around 7 & 8 million. Thanks for your input. I will start adding more unique content.

Oh good to know you are adding unique content. Sorry I assumed when I looked at the site that made it that it was all turn-key. Also good know the coin site is a niche you picked because you know about it. That makes it much easier to create content and market.
