My site has PR6,but very low traffic.Sometimes the number of visitors is less than 300 a day, most of time, the number of visitors is not passing 400 a day.I want every one to review my site and give me some constructive suggestion.
Why do my site have a high PR but less traafic and less business ?My website URL is www.socusoft.com

Welcome anyone to review my site and give me some good advice to improve my site.you can also check my keyword, title, description and others.
Thank you very much for attention to me.

I think it looks really good and don't see anything I can suggest changing.

Considering you keep calling this a "bad" site I was prepared for the worst
but I really do think it looks pretty good.

I always like to go through a site from start to shopping cart. In this case I found a couple things that might concern a shopper. For one, where you state in your FAQ that you can order off-line, the link to that actually takes you to the shopping cart and that page has no information about how to order off-line.

The checkout is a little confusing to me (and I always look carefully when I buy online). I see your company is using a Digital River service for checkout and at the bottom of the page it states that "Digital River GmbH (share-it!) is the seller of the products in your shopping cart and your contractual partner." Then it says the Publisher (which I assume is your company) is Thomas Software, China. A quick search in Google does not bring up any Thomas Software in China. As a consumer that would pretty much stop me right there. So regardless of how nice the site looks, how great the PR is, my point is that you need to make sure your checkout service is not going to stop the consumer. As an affiliate manager I work with my merchants exactly the same way and try to find every little thing that might stop a sale.

I think your site looks very clean and easy to navigate. Overall I don't see really anything wrong with it.

Actually, there are several things I think you need to do. I just typed out a long post detailing them only to have the site frash when I hit "Submit".

I'll try to repost my specific suggestions later but for now I'll just start with this question: What is it that your boss doesn't like about this site? He's paying the bills. You need to find out what it is he likes first. Then create the site he likes. And then optimize it for search and click through rate improvements (that will be part 2, later if I can complete some reports).

Let me try that post again.

Visually, the page doesn't look bad at all to me. The home page is PR6 according to my Google toolbar, which means you've got some decent incoming links. But I don't know how well it ranks for wat seaqrch terms and you say elsewhere that you're not getting much traffic. I think the following may help with that.

1. Your title tag needs attention. Currently, it looks like this:

Quote:
Home – Socusoft powerful applications - DVD Photo Slideshow, Flash Slideshow Maker, Any FLV Player, SocuSoft DVD Converter
Notice that it includes an unprintable character after the word "Home". But that's going to be eliminated anyway. The title tag is the single most important element of onpage optimization and yours is not good. The title should contain 1 to 3 of your most important search terms, starting with the most important and going to less important reading left to right. If the company name is there for branding, in most cases it should be last. Useless words - like Home - should be deleted. It should look professional and succinct. It should not look spammy. This is not a place for a list of keywords.

So your title for this home page should look something like this:

Quote:
DVD and Flash Photo Slideshow Creation and DVD Conversion Software by SocuSoft
2. Your meta description tag is not used for ranking per se but it is a very important factor in click through rates. Depending on the specific search term used, this is one of the most commonly displayed "snippets", the short line of text that appears beneath your listing in Google or other search engines. It should be short, concise, professional, and definitely not spammy looking sentence that will grab the searcher's attention, tell him what your site is about, and elkicit enough interest to get him to click through to your site. Again, this is not a place for keyword stuffing.

Yours currently looks like this for the home page:

Quote:
Socusoft, leading software-developing company, specialized in digital photo, digital video, VCD, DVD-making applications, played online, on TV and portable devices, famous tools, DVD Photo Slideshow, Flash Slideshow Maker, Any Flv Player, SocuSoft DV to DVD Converter, Any FLV Converter, Wedding Slideshow Studio, Web Album Maker, Flash Banner Creator, applications for DVD, video and audio conversion
Too long. Spammy looking. Just a list of keywords. very unprofessional looking to my eyes.

Try something like this:

Quote:
Socusoft specializes in software for digital photography and video, Flash DVD Photo Slideshow Creation, and DVD Converters.
3. The meta keywords tag really isn't used any more for anything that matters. It doesn't hurt to include it but if you do don't stuff it with every keyword you can think of. Again, limit the length and make it look professional rather than spammy.

4. Now go to the visible text in the content of your page. This (a) must be well-written, professional, and not spammy looking; and (b) must include the same (most important) search terms used in the title tag. Your content needs some work. It's not horrible but it reads awkwardly and needs to be matched to whatever you end up with in the title tag and meta description tags. To be honest, the text on that home page looks almost like a translation from another language to me - it just doesn't flow properly.
