Default Review me... Please. :)

Hey everyone (Hi Linda!),

For those who have been following my blog you know that I'm determined to be successful online.

I have the drive, determination, entrepreneurial spirit, and talent to be successful. I enjoy marketing in general and have a experience with web design and programming. I understand the importance of testing, being focused, and ROI. I have a wide array of knowledge from database design to running a business.

I have (what I believe) is everything needed to be successful online, but I'm not.

I have an initial goal to make a combined income of $400 a month through online activity (adsense, affiliate, adwords, etc). I think this is a very reasonable goal to set. It's this goal that would make a profound difference in my quality of life.

So the question is why am I struggling so much to make just a little? That's why I've turned to you guys. Give me an honest review (good or bad). I promise I won't cry (much).

You can check out my personal blog as well as my new coffee blog.

I don't expect to earn any money with my personal blog, but you should be able to get an insight into me from this blog.

For my coffee blog. Am I on the right track with this? I picked a topic that I have an interest in and enjoy posting to this blog. I have adsense ads on it and plan to have affiliate links on any product I mention. Is there something else I should be doing or am I doing this completely wrong.

I appreciate all comments and suggestions, so please let me have it.

The coffee site is really nice. It's clean and easy to navigate. The only suggestion that I have is to blend adsense more by changing the link colors. That seems to work for me.

One thing to keep in mind, although the blog layout is clean as is, is the template flexible to add new widgets in the future without breaking? One thing I'm realizing is that other bloggers, the ones you'll be linking with through Blogroll or Mybloglog will want to see their links on the page.

Hey Shannon,

Great job! Good tip above about blending your ads.
You may also want to put a bank of ads in the sidebar.

Default 2nd Review...

Hey everyone,

Well I've been busy working on my Grind your Beans coffee site and I'm pleased with it, but I'm concerned that visitors are not liking it and/or it's considered a sblog.

I'm new to the coffee market and don't have anything original to post so during the initial infant stage of the site I'm posting a lot of excepts and coffee related news, articles, auctions, etc.

So far I've made $2.47 in affiliate commission and about $0.30 in adsense income.

Can someone review my site again and give it an honest review? Thanks.

Grind your Beans

Shannon
