I don't have any experience of the sort of program you're talking about beyond having heard of the concept so I can't really comment with any authority. Please be wary of any "opportunities" or programs that you have to pay to join though. If it seems confusing to you, seek out some existing user experiences before you make a decision.
If gaming is your passion, I'm sure there are plenty of affiliate programs out there related to the subject and I imagine it's a very crowded niche. However, if it's something you know about it might be right for you. Maybe blogging about it would be a good first step, and start learning the ropes with affiliate marketing as you go.
As for UWP it's entirely up to you if you wish to try and get your refund or decide to persevere with it, but you need to think about what you want to achieve, a direction to head in, and find something you can work at long term and not fall into the program hopping cycle.
I urge you again to take Linda's advice and begin/continue developing your knowledge of affiliate marketing, which is the surest route to making money online.

I'm thinking of going into being an affiliate for a site when you join up which costs 34.95 you get to play games on-line and join in on competions etc everything looks confusing? Would you agree on getting a refund on my mid-phase account and a re-fund on the ultimate wealth package and start all over again? I feel my passion is becoming a paid game player (getting paid to play games) becoming an affiliate for those sort of sites. Any suggestions on any affiliate programs anyone would reccomend?
