I am a total newbie....trying the afiliate thingy... ...just wanted to know if I am heading in the right direction....your advice would be very much appreciated...

Welcome to 5 Star.

Well, I have lots to say but not much time. Let me preface by saying not to feel bad about the constructive criticism you are about to receive. You are making lots of classic mistakes that many others make.

1) Whats your focus? You are promoting everything but the kitchen sink.

2) After you pick your niche or focus then those main key words need to be in your meta title and in H1 or H3 in the title of the page.

3) All the different fonts, in different sizes and different bright colors as well as the animation is really distracting and make the page look very home made and old school.

4) The page is way too wide. You don't want people to have to scroll to see the whole page.

You can get a nice free CSS template that would take care of a lot of the design and font issues and make the site much cleaner.

This mom type of thing is really everywhere on the net these days. Yours is different because you are actually funny. Maybe try and make a scam alert for moms and try and dig around for reviews of certain affiliate programs that will and will not work.
