I visited your site and found some information about martial art and internal energy. You can write keywords rich informative articles on these topics. Readers will surely provide you their contact details after going through the articles.

Rick,

I'm sort of a newbie here (going to submit my site for review in a few minutes), so take my advice with a small grain of salt.

What I would suggest is showing video captures without the year and date. My first thought when I saw "2001" is that the material is not new and fresh. Could you crop the images that you post on the site? I think this would raise the level for the material, since people seem to want the latest and best, not something almost 7 years old.

But that's just me. I might be completely off on this one.

Rick, I agree that the 2001 time stamp makes the site look dated. Dinosaurs roamed the net in 2001...

You said you wanted to capture subscribers - how about a signup box? And offer a free e-book or tips course. You can search for free autoresponders or something like that (I used getresponse free, then when I started making money bought a subscription).

The offer is everything (and a way to respond other than sending you an email will help)

Also, try a headline other than the title -
want to learn how to...?
get a free...?
you get the idea.

Good luck, wish I had the time to try martial arts myself.

Kris

I took those pics are part of the video which I date stamped as a foolish attempt to protect my work, BUT, what if I use the date stamp to my advantage by using terms such as

Established, proven method, no fad etc?

Rick

oooooo

PS

Established method finally developed in 2001 below you see some of the ORGINAL PICTURES of the video!

How about that?

You got an interesting site there buddy. Generating a targeted email list from your own efforts would do just great. You can try creating a contest or survey in which selected participants or winners will get some freebie. A nice banner would suffice for the promo.

But you would still need to promote that contest or promo you are having. You may want to consider a PPC campaign to reach your target markets. Posting on classifieds, forum participation, etc. would do just well but would require much of your time though.

Best of luck

Thank you

I've been turned off on contests in the past where the prize is what you're selling on the page. I think a good contest gets people to the page that wouldn't normally go there. I realized this when I went to a romance page to try (and won) a Starbucks gift certificate
