Hi all,
As a new site online would like any feedback that you have for the site. The colors, information, what you like or don't like. The original header that I had was not geared towards my site and so I redid it. If anyone had possibly seen the old header and then looks at the new one, please let me know what you think of the new one compared to old.

Create a Website

Thanks much

Hi jumar112,

I don't think your site is that bad, I think it's the Holidays and not as many people are here and many people are still busy with Holiday stuff or vacations.

Hello Julia;
I like your site. It is simple to navigate; but a couple of things I want to point out:
  1. It would be nice if you can make the background of the title lighter. To me, it is kind of distractive.

  2. I never saw your old header. However I think you should think about a more general title to include everything you have there. To me, SEO, GET TRAFFIC, MAKE MONEY, and AFFILIATE MARKETING are not directly related to your title. They are the things you do after you create a new website. Don't you think?

  3. If I were you, I would put some ads in sidebars. It works out for me.

I was just thinking of using my domain name as my header and not have a title, or maybe...mmm..... have to think on that.

I think you saw maybe the newer header I put up tonight....gold colored? I am working on a lighter color.....thought I would like that but yes it is too bold

I will be doing that..seems I don't have enough time in the day to finish everything that I need to

thanks for the reply

I think your site is great! You have such a step-by-step approach which is what your users will want. I didn't read it word for word, but I bookmarked it for later. It looks like you didn't leave anything out. The only thing I'd do different is list "choose a domain name" before "choose a host" in the navigation links.

I'm not going to lie, I'm not a huge fan of the color scheme at all. But, you've got what really counts and that's more than a lot of sites can say. The color scheme is bearable because you have such great information.

Is this your 1st site? If so, great job. Even if it's your 10th site, great job anyway.

I saw the one with earth background. I guess that is the old header. The gold colored one looks a lot better! It matches your website body as a whole. I like it!

I threw that back and forth. On the webhost page it has a tip for checking out possibly getting a free domain with your host company. Many beginners do not realize you can get a free domain when you register with a hosting company. They buy their domain,,,,then they find a host and have to redirect....so much easier to get it at the same time same place and in the long run can save money.

Thanks for the compliment. After many, many, many hours of research on the net I realized many people besides myself need to have this information.

It is not my first site. I had 4 or 5 others before this. Even though they did not work,,,,,,,they did as a matter of speaking because they taught me A LOT.

Thanks for saying that. There is alot of information in the site and I will be updating it very often.

I changed the color scheme again about 2 am this morning with lighter colors....I don't know if you saw the bright gold or the newer one. I WILL keep the colors I have up now for a while. Need to work on more content.

Thanks everyone for your input.

Hi everyone,

I have been working on the site information, colors and such over the past month. I do realize this is still a new site since it was only put up over 2007 thanksgiving weekend.

Not sure if I like the header still, but for now I have to live with it.

How are the colors?
How does it look on other browsers?
Is the background color to lite? dark?

Any feedback would be helpful.

Thanks
