Oh dear...

I can understand your thinking if you are new to this, it's a very common mistake.

Let me ask you this. Would you ever watch TV if there were never any movies, or sitcoms or anything interesting at all and it was just all commercials???

Nope you wouldn't. People only come to your site for the content, advice, help, entertaining info or whatever value you can give them. They won't come, stay or buy if it's all ads.

Also text links convert MUCH better than banner ads. People have what's known as banner blindness and they don't really see ads much any more.

Additionally what you have is not a blog at all, it's a banner farm. Blog's have certain characteristics and one of the most important elements, is what you could call articles I guess. Some people write entertaining info, some write helpful info, some write reviews. But a page of banners isn't a blog at all.

Even more importantly you are starting with the absolute hardest market a newbie could tackle. Home business, make money online is where lots of newbies try to start, but trust me it's the worst for many reasons.

I would suggest stopping before you go any further and read all the stickies in our newbie forum to get a feel for some of the best ways to get started. Many have tried what you are doing and weren't successful and we'd like to try to help you get off to a better start.

Princess, Linda mentioned that what you have is a "banner farm." That is an actual accepted term that is used to describe a page such as the one you have.

Banner farms are on free web hosted sites the vast majority of the time. It is a web page that contains nothing but banners linked to affiliate programs. They should be avoided. In fact, Google says they should be avoided Webmaster Guidelines
