Worth noting is that some bloggers report that when they post LESS that they actually get more traction with readers. I know of one blogger who was posting 10-20 times a day and when he dropped things back to 2-3 posts a day he noticed not only increases in comment numbers per post but that his posts were being shared more on social media sites. At 10-20 posts a day posts were coming off the front page of his blog so much that readers hardly had a chance to read and share them.

As a blog writer, I sometimes stress because I don't have time to post enough, or not as much as I'd like to post.
As a blog consumer. there are a couple of blogs I follow that are guilty of too many posts. When I check into the RSS feeds of those blogs and don't have much time (which is most days), if I see 6-10 posts listed some days I just skip it, barring a
really compelling headline, and move on to the next - who's got time to read 6-10 posts from one blog? I know it's totally subjective but it just feels kind of overwhelming at the time.
