What's Your Opinion of Wordpress?

Morning,

The wordpress community offers tons of free plugins that one can use to build rather nifty sites. My favorite is:

has descriptions of other great plugins, including one to help decrease comment spam, a Google Sitemaps generator and more.

There are packages like Rapid Niche Websites that focus on using Wordpress to create a themed resource site. That's not free, however.

The nice thing about wordpress is it will notify (ping) Technorati every time you post in your blog (and it updates your RSS feed as well).

You can put a blog in your website subdirectory, and then on your main index.html page, include code that references that blog. This means people can subscribe to the main page of your resource site via your blog feed.
