Online Music Critic

I just had what I think could be a GREAT blogging niche, and it may sound silly, but I'm not sure which merchant's I should approach to be an affiliate. I would love to be a positive music critic for the Christian music market since I have 40 yrs. experience as a musician being a very educated and experienced drummer, I also sing, and I've been brought up on the roots of Soul, Funk, R&B, Rock n' Roll, Jazz (all styles). Any suggestions on how I should get going with that would be EXTREMELY welcome.

MUCHO APPRECIADO! for the affirmation Linda. However, I'm curious why you recommended zZounds since they sell exclusively Pro Audio equip. I mean, other than they share a sub-demographic that would buy tunes. I was thinking if I went to some of the band's websites and told them what I was up to that they might be willing to link to my site for favorable reviews. That would also allow me to link to my 1st blog site as well. What ya think?

Zzounds doesn't just sell pro audio. I'm assuming some people that would be interested in reading music reviews COULD also be interested in playing music and could be hobbyists or wannabe musicians.

You know your propsed audience better than I but it does not seem like a stretch to me to say = if you love listening to Christian Music like I do, you may also be a musician like I am or want to learn to play. Here are some ideas for you...

Now, don't hold this against me if it doesn't pan out for whatever reason, but have you considered Time Life? I know they sell a ton of Christian/Inspirational CDs (cue the late night infomercials) and I'm sure they have an affiliate program.

Just did another quick Google search - Christian Book looks like a great website and they have an affiliate program. Why not consider checking them out to see if they will make a good merchant?
