Default Any Wordpress 2.1 Category Plugins

Is there a plugin that makes managing posting & categories easier
than what wordpress 2.1 does now.

I looked at Semiologic but that is out of my price range for now.

Hi designs12901,

Welcome to 5 Star. I have the older version of WP and posting and categories is super easy. Not sure why it would be harder in the new version.

Maybe Teli or Stephen have some options for you.

Hi Linda,

Thanks for the reply, I looked at Semiologic CMS for wordpress sense I'm a newbie when it comes to blogging & decided against it, to expense for my taste.

At first posting & building categories seemed confusing, like Uncategorized
categories & postings, parent categories & category slugs.

After you step back and think about how the program is designed to work, it isn't all that hard to learn, I do think there are still some bugs to be worked out.

When I first installed it, I deleted the about page & I didn't know it was a page
& not a category, so I tried to create a category for it. At first it seems a little
intimidating there's so much you can do with but it's not.
