This is a cool idea (www.linkcountdown.com) - basically like the million dollar homepage, but with textlinks that help with SEO. Prices started at $1 and increases a dollar every link, so you want to get in while its cheap. The last links will cost towards $1000, but its around $30 now I think. They give away prices as well.
• I think the site in itself is very neat (the layout)
• Seems to have pretty good “basic SEO in place”
• Generally provides a good feel to visitors
• The offering is communicated well
Con’s:
• I would say the product lacks genuine originality (too close to being a clone of the million dollar home page).
• Link costs will become prohibitive at some point.
All in all through an interesting offer, and it will be exciting to see if this project can make progress.
