Hi terryfinlay,
I think for any type of advancement has growing pains and issues. Look at Google's attempts to scan books from New York Public Library and Oxford University. Overall their intention was to introduce works to countless readers around the world who otherwise would have not been privy to in the first place. Now, there’s the issue of copyright infringement.
But don’t forget bicycles. Even as our cars become greener, run off of the sun and come in sizes smaller than my refrigerator, there will always be a place for bicycles! I feel the same will go for books. Soon there could be monitors built into my glass es for easy reading but I will still own a paperback copy of On the Road.
