I'm just wondering if any one knows how good is ShareASale. Are they reliable? Do they have a lot of advertisers. I am not familiar with them and would like to become an affiliate. I am familiar mostly with ClickBank and LinknShare and I know they are very good affiliate programs.
Hector, for many affiliates SAS is their favorite. It may not have as many big merchants as Linkshare, but has more small niche programs. More than anything affiliates feel SAS is the highest integrity network as they don't allow any affiliates that steal commission from others like they feel some of the other big networks do.

I have worked with Shareasale both as an affiliate and as a business owner. They have always been reliable, helpful, and provide all the tools to be a successful affiliate marketer.
Shareasale sounds like a good affiliate program. I have not tried it before. I ave much success with few affiliate programs. I will try SAS soon. Thanks for the infos.
I've been with Shareasale as an affiliate publisher for about 4 years. I have made some money with them but much more with other companies like CJ, LS & Google. Probably because they have more well known Merchants and I get more hits due to the keywords people use to search them out. ie: BestBuy in Arizona, anna's linens etc. The company I do best with is Commission Junction (CJ). especially in the travel sector. Hope this helped some. Good Luck.
I am a big fan of ShareaSale. They offer great support to their affiliates and have a selection of great merchants.
They also hold an amazing annual "Think Tank" event where Brian Littleton picks up the tab. A very nice perk for performers. I'll post a video shortly of the last event held at the spectacular Grand Del Mar resort in San Diego a few months back. It was a great event (to put it mildly).

Ditto what Linda said and einfantshop. I've been an affiliate and I've also been an affiliate manager for four different programs at SAS and they are great to work with. The one thing that stands out with SAS is the close relationship they have with their merchants and affiliates. The Think Tank that James mentioned (hope I'm not in the video) is remarkable in this business in that it attempts to pull affiliates from various levels together with a variety of merchants so they can learn what they need to do to improve their affiliate programs. Of course, it also gives merchants a chance to recruit affiliates in a soft sell type of way.
One thing that I feel is unique at these Think Tanks is the opportunity on the last day for everyone to meet in a big room and provide the president, Brian Littleton, with suggestions for his program, but also to discuss the state of affiliate marketing. I'm not sure that happens anywhere else.
smaller advertisers than cj / linkshare but that is not a bad thing, and they have some big ones as well. I have used them as an Affiliate and as a Merchant and it worked out for me and i have no complaints. The customer service is great, they have technology that is not the best but it's there own and in my book that says a whole lot. The owner Brian is a solid guy, and he has a good team. I strongly recommend them.
