How do you feel about a newbie starting off with SAS to kickoff a new Affiliate program? I noticed it's less expensive than Commission Junction to get started and I've have heard goods and bads about clickback so I decided to try another network.

Default Is SAS worth it?

I'm a new Affiliate Manager and just signed up to Share a Sales. It's a little costly but compared to CJ it seems to be more reasonable priced. Have you had success using SAS?

Hi ETRdahir,

SAS is a good network, the best in many affiliate's opinion and by far the best in the low end price range. So don't worry you made a good decision.

Best of luck with your new program!

yeah for true "affiliate" network not CPA or CPA-Affiliate Network - think SAS is a great place to start..

I've working with your company in my past position. I managed EDU campaigns and sold lead gen on a CPL basis... Wonder if the weather is nicer here in South Florida or there in South California.

Regards,
George

Good to meet again George, very cool finding you here. We still dabble in EDU and Lead Gen but we are now mostly a Cross Vertical CPA Network with technology. As for the weather -SD is looking at 75 and sunny today but its been raining a lot lately - its our season for it.

If you have marketing type offer 'clickbank' is the place. Otherwise it's a bit of a 'carny' atmosphere.

CJ vendors seem to weed out their affiliates a lot. This leads me to think they have a lot of people applying and then doing nothing - or else there is a per affiliates fee.

With SAS I see they have a lot of newbies signing up.

My personal pet peeve is having to wait to be approved. When I am looking for merchants at cj there are usually so many to choose from. I need one that fits my niche and I need it now!

SAS is my favorite! Much less competition, no offense to any merchants here but it is quite often easy to rank higher than the merchants for keywords they should be ranking well for.

SAS just announced an impressive update to their datafeed system whereas they can now include columns for the following:

best sellers
compatible with
compare to
quality discount
add to cart URL
review rss URL

I'm not sure if any other networks are offering this type of special features in their feed.
