Default Isn't this just a minisite methodology?

Why wouldn't you just apply your "process" (on-page SEO, article submissions, getting inbound links from blog entries...etc.) you talk about to a fully hosted site, not a parked domain? I'm a newbie and maybe I'm missing something here. Anyway, I like your thought process, and money is money, so please take this post as curious not critical

No problem Randy. As I mentioned this was started as merely an experiment which I soon realized had a very profitable potential.

The thing I wanted to do with this particular experiment is...now don't get angry everyone...spend as little time possible building these revenue streams but still generate $5-10 day via these sites. And no, they're not junk sites. They're highly targeted sites that only display information people are looking for.

That's it.

Because of how these sites are designed your CTR will be extremely high. Just take a look at any of the examples I've set up. As a whole my WhyPark sites get roughly a 15-20% CTR with the completely natural traffic I get right now.

When I was first thinking about ways to generate traffic to these sites I was strategizing my conventional marketing standards as you identified above: On/Off page SEO, Article Marketing, Link Campaigns, etc.

The past few weeks I have done some article marketing on a handful of my WhyPark sites that return a very high cost per click (CPC). If you're going to do this it's VERY importnant you set up Adsense channels for each of your domains so you can identifiy which sites generate a higher CPC.

But that all takes...you guessed it time...which defeats the purpose of my experiment since these are NOT the major sites I develop on a daily basis.

Other than that though I do not have the time, at the moment, to develop these using more conventional standards. Maybe when I seperate from the US Air Force I'll have more time =)

Anyhow...after talking to many other interested marketers I've settled on using RSS to Blog to bring in traffic to these sites. More to come on this once I've finished setting up all my sites on RSS to Blog and have some figures to share.....Everybody likes figures. LOL

Stay tuned!

Thanks for the info and that's a hell of a click through rate! You mention that "Because of how these sites are designed your CTR will be extremely high." Not to be a pest but can you elaborate a bit? Thanks again!

Take a look at the Adsense placement on this WhyPark site of mine to see why they get such a high CTR: http://www.safe-credit-repair.com/

You'll notice they are placed right in front of your prospect and the only option is to read another article, back out or click on your Adsense. I sprinkle a few affiliate programs throughtout my sites but primarily it is Adsense that pulls in the most revenue.

You can also use these sites as landing pages for promoting affiliate programs in Adwords. WhyPark allows you to also setup custom pages. All in all I really like this passive income system more and more =)

Default What A Dummy I Am!

So why haven't I put newsletter signups on these 80 some odd sites? I was just sitting here thinking about some ways to build up my lists. DUHHH!!! What a no brainer. It's so simple and I didn't think to do this months ago. Now I can create highly targeted niche lists with my whypark domains by simply setting up Aweber campaigns on each of them.

So why didn't the rest of you guys remind me to do this. Ohh well, least now I have some productive work to do. LOL. Here's an example site with my newsletter signup code in place: http://www.affiliatefeedster.com/

Hi,

Just found this forum...nice. How's the whypark adsense working for you? I am seriously looking at this. Do you have an affiliate link?

Thx,

Adam

Default Adding stats to bottom of page

HI,
I just set up my first WhyPark site.

Stephen, you asked if anything to add, the only thing I would add is that I put a link to display the stat counter info on the bottom of my page, so that if anyone wants to buy, they can see the traffic.

Does anyone see a disadvantage to doing this?

BTW, I did put my newsletter signup on the page, under the Text Link Ads section. Also, I put a newsletter that is relevant to the niche, not a generic Affiliate newsletter.

Thanks,
Brian Wall

No, I don't see a disadvantage to doing this unless your trafifc was dismal. There should be an option to turn on/off that feature so you could display those numbers once they're presentable. PR is what many domain buyers are looking for though.

aj2000 - Sorry for the delay. I have a link in my signature for this service if you're so inclined but no pressure....CLICK IT....CLICK IT NOW! LOL =)

Hi All,

I've been contemplating on this program for a while. Still awaiting a reply from the admin regarding the question below :

=================
I refer to AdSense Program Policies under Ad Placement : "No Google ad or
Google search box may be displayed on any domain parking websites, pop-ups, pop-unders, or in any email."

And quoting from your FAQ under "Why is WhyPark.com a better choice than
traditional domain parking services" : ".... a domain parked at WhyPark.com
includes hundreds or thousands of pages ..." ... Wouldn't WhyPark violate
AdSense terms since you're a domain parking website?
=================

Any comment on this issue? Cheers, Will
