hi Rem,
I would say i am very happy with whypark so far. I have about 150 domains and about 50 are on whypark at the moment with most of the rest parked. Since it is a one time only fee and you don't need hosting it seems a good deal to me.
The new templates look pretty good and they are very easy to use and add or change to how you like.
If you want to sign up for whypark, or already have, let me know if you have any questions and i will help as best i can.
I appreciate the feedback, and the offer to help out. I have one other question. Based on a month comparing the two, how would you say the 50 or so domains you have up on Whypark compare to your non-whypark sites?
It's a bit difficult to relate the difference as the parked domains are better names and therefore get more traffic/revenue. I only started the whypark as a test to see how it worked and whether it worked or not (the sign up is $99 which is very little.)
Most of my whypark sites are domains that were not making anything from parking and now with content and adsense do make small amounts. I guess the sites on whypark make about $10 -$15 per week as a total .. but i have only just started and as with anything it takes time.
No, that is great info. I only have a few domains currently and have been trying to decide what direction to go. I have about 25 domains parked with Sedo and am making next to nothing with them despite a decent amount of traffic on several of the sites. I have been looking at whypark for a bit now but just haven't pulled the trigger yet...
I hear you on Sedo. I used Afternic for a while back in the day and at the end of the month I was counting pennies in revenue...literally.
Do your SEDO parked domains carry PR? You've heard me denounce PR in the past but the bottom line is people still use that to determine whether or not they want to purchase a domain. Would you rather pick up a PR 0 or PR 3 domain?
This is especially true if you're already getting a decent amount of traffic to those sites. Who knows how much revenue you may be losing out on right now if you kept 100% of the revenue Adsense, Yahoo! Publisher, Adbrite or CPA ads could pull in for you.
Set up a blogger account for each WhyPark domain to drive traffic to your sites. This takes time and work but ensures your WhyPark sites will get indexed fast and receive targted traffic.
Many affiliates generate hundreds or even thousands of blogger sites pointing back to one domain. I do not condone or recommend that.
Simply set up one blog per WhyPark domain, write up some short articles (or have them ghostwritten in bulk) and post them to your blog 1 or 2 times per week. Optimize your blogs with a little Adsense, CPA etc. to generate a little extra income.
Thanks Stephen for sharing. Beside blogging, wondering if you'd used any other methods ie. PPC (for arbitrage), setting a custom page in WhyPark for linking purpose etc. to generate traffic?
