Build the brand...build the following...and yes, the conversions would go up...because you're targeting your traffic (you're in control of your audience)...and if "Mr.X Plumbing" is the first plumbing company that comes to mind when you need plumbing services...it increases conversions naturally.
True social marketing is
not about direct sales (that's a common misconception)...it's about building
the following of people that generates direct sales (builds a snowball over time that creates sales by the truckloads).
It's best to imagine social media as a "giant seminar" where you network with people...and eventually build relationships (and your brand) that lead to referrals and sales.
