Gigantic spam ring shut down

The spam group is known as HerbalKing. It is one of the largest spammers on the Internet. During the past 20 months it has sent out billions of unsolicited email messages for replica watches numerouspharmaceuticals.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) was able to get a federal court in Chicago, Illinois to freeze the assets of the group and order the spam network to shut down.

Charges against the spam ring were also made in New Zealand. Australia and India may also be involved.

The spam gang is reported to have had a network of 35,000 infected computers that could send out 10 billion e-mail messages a day.

YAY!!!! hip hip hooray, and all that stuff, heh. even though my combo of gmail and outlook filters take care of nearly all of my spam, it's still annoying!

Wow I can only imagine how much money they were making, that is 2 emails a day for every person on the planet. Gotta love our government doing something right
