Favorite FTP program

The title I selected for this thread is "Favorite FTP program." I used that rather than "Favorite FTP client" for no particular reason.

I thought it might be a good idea to have some 5 Star members list their favorite FTP client. As a results, some might see one or more that they haven't tried and decide to try them. They might end up liking it more than what they are presently using and end up having a new favorite FTP program.

So, what is your favorite or favorites.

My favorite is WS_FTP. That probably is because I use it so often and I've been using it for so long. It is the one I use the most. Ipswitch, Inc. - Downloads

I also use and like Core FTP. Free FTP client, secure file transfer software

No question abt this one: Flash FXP.

been using Cuteftp, WS_FTP, but somehow they seemed complicated.

But FlashFXP is easy to use, simple straightforward

But I am sure there are better programs out there now...

FileZilla. Free and very, very good. I completely abandoned WS_FTP after trying FZ.

I'm addicted to FileZilla. It allows me to do what I need to do, quickly and easily - and I can manage/organize all of my own sites/client sites.

An FTP program that is starting to get some attention is AceFTP.

There is a free version and the Pro paid version.

filezilla rocks.

I've shown smart ftp users filezilla and within 5 mins they were converted.

i like how you can set default directories on your local and remote sites on filezilla. i can easily manage my network of sites using a whole bunch of preconfigured accounts.
