Interesting meta search engine (KartOO)

There are many meta search engines out there. A lot of them aren't all that impressive and several of them are routine and rather boring.

I use a lot of search engines since I am a big search engine fan. There is a meta search engine that has been around for a couple of years that I like to test a few times a year and as far as meta search engines go, it isn't bad. You might conduct searches different from the ones I did and arrive at the conclusion that it isn't all that good.

When you search, it gets the results, compiles them and represents them in a series of interactive maps. FlashPlayer is used to draw the interactive maps.

Google is my favorite method for conducting searches. However I use many other options to help enhance my search efforts.

KartOO has created a new version since I started this thread. It is called UJIKO. The interface has linked sites as playlists and you can add or delete your preference.

KartOO is faster than it was. It now does a better job of helping to narrow down general topics. The search results have also improved.

It might not become your favorite place to conduct searches, but it is different and there could be some features about it that you will like.
