Default Yahoo Publisher Network makes some changes

Some publishers using the Yahoo Publisher Network are doing very well and are real happy with the way things are going. Others are saying YPN isn't doing as well for them as they want, and there are various reasons behind it.

Yahoo recently made some changes in their ads in an effort it hopes will help improve the performance. Here is how it is stated by Yahoo:
Quote:
Some publishers to see changes in their ads

We’ve been doing some tinkering under the bonnet recently, so some of you may notice a few changes in your ads. The changes you’re likely to see include the removal of ellipses (…) and truncated words, the inclusion of 40-character titles on certain ad units, and a change in the number of ads displayed on certain ad layouts.

These enhancements have to do with our efforts to upgrade our contextual advertising product, and in the coming weeks will take effect across the entire network. They come in response to your feedback and should, in the long run, help enhance your account performance. We’ll share more details with you as they become available.

I can't say for certain if the two are connected but since this change there has been some good improvement for me. I've noticed some other publishers with Yahoo Publishers Network are also seeing an improvement.

It would be great if this continues for everyone and if Yahoo will be able to do more to help bring even better results.

I hope you have also had an improvement. If so, 5 Star members and visitors would be interested in hearing what you have to say about it. If there wasn't an improvement for you, that also would be interesting.
