Jeremy Jaynes was at one time one of the top 10 spammers in the whole world.
Jaynes was sentenced to 9 years in prison after being found guilty for using
false internet addresses and aliases to bury email users with spam.
He is now saying the laws under which he was convicted violate his First Amendment right of free speech so he has taken it to the Virginia Supreme Court.
Last year in a unanimous ruling, the Virginia Court of Appeals upheld the conviction of Jeremy Jaynes.
The Virginia Supreme Court is expected to issue a ruling this November.
