50 Best Websites of 2007

Last year I started this thread about the 50 Coolest Websites for 2006 as was published by Time magazine http://affiliate-marketing-forums.5s...-websites.html

This year Time is calling it the 50 Best Websites. You will see some you have heard of and possibly discover some great ones that are completely new to you.

You will see StumbleUpon, Wetpaint, Blinkx and Twitter on the list. But you will also see Wotartist, Veoh, SimpleWeather, FAFSA4Caster and many others. Mozy is at the top of the list in the number 1 position.

I have talked with a few people about this list and the thing that caught my attention was that there are a lot of sites on this list that they have never heard of.

I spent hours on it....too addictive....never again....

Now what was the name of that site with the cool chess problems?......hmm!!

Neat list...many sites I've never heard of but definitely worth checking out.

I liked the idea of OhDontForget.com, and Chow.com has just caught my attention (thankfully it's almost lunch time )

The breakdown on these 50 Best Websites of 2007 might be of some interest:

Audio & Video - 13
Arts & Leisure - 12
News & Information - 11
Web Services - 9
Social Networks - 5

You can see that Audio & Video along with Arts & Leisure make up half of the 50.

This breakdown of the 50 best might be just about what some would think and others might be a little surprised.

For 2006 they called it the 50 Coolest Websites. At the end of 2007 they called it The 50 Best Websites.

Here is how they explained it for the 2006 selections:

The vast majority of these I haven't heard of, I'm surprised that Squidoo didn't make the list considering it grew at an incredible rate during 2007.
